The brief was to make the place feel like the lake outside the window. Shaker cabinets keep the kitchen quiet — the right call for a condo where the view is the room. We let the millwork do its job and stay out of the way.
The fireplace wall and the tile shower are the two built-in moments where the work stops being background and becomes the feature. We tiled the shower from floor to ceiling and ran LVP through the rest of the place — wet feet, sand, dogs, guests, a lake place sees all of it.
